Why Cheyenne garages need a spring reset
Wyoming winters are long and cold. Everything that gets pushed into the garage in October, including snow equipment, winter gear, storm prep items, and overflow from the house, sits there through April.
By March, many Cheyenne garages have accumulated significantly more than was there the previous fall. The spring cleanout is a recurring Cheyenne pattern rather than a one-time event.
The spring window is also when homeowners discover what actually accumulated over winter: old appliances that were going to be donated, exercise equipment that was supposed to be sold, furniture that never made it out of the garage, and full boxes of household overflow.
